Continuous Beams with Top Flange Bracing

Steel beams are commonly used to support wood and concrete floor systems. The floor systems are typically connected to the top flange of the steel beam, leaving the bottom flange unbraced. In continuous construction, the bottom flange of the steel beam will be in compression at the column supports. In this video, I cover the design of continuous beams with top flange bracing.
